Our surgery suite offers the finest technology for full-service surgery capability and continuous monitoring of your pet. Experienced technicians assist with anesthesia while our highly-skilled surgeons operate. Your pet's safety is our highest priority, and we use ECG and Blood Pressure monitors along with Pulse Oximetry and constant evaluation by a trained technician to ensure that every pet experiences the safest procedure possible. (Click here to learn more about monitoring.) All pets receive an intravenous (IV) catheter before anesthesia, to allow immediate access to the bloodstream if medications are needed. Supportive IV fluids are administered throughout the procedure if warranted. All major surgical cases (including spays and neuters) are kept in the hospital for round-the-clock post-surgical monitoring.
